Linked roles
When Swagbot is added to a Discord server you manage, you will have the option to add link requirements from swagbot for your server roles using Discord's linked roles feature.

Linked vs Steam role
The Steam role feature from SwagBot is different than Discord's linked roles. While the Steam role is more to have a single role to recognize map makers, linked roles can be used for give a role only when someone has posted a map to:
- only have map makers post in a published maps channel
- private (testing) channel for experienced map makers

Updating
At the moment, SwagBot does not update linked roles. When your data has changed, relink your Discord account in the linked roles tab of the server.
Errors
If you are getting an error while trying to connect linked roles, it could because of:
- Discord, Steam or Cloudflare has an outage
