Privacy policy ​

This is the privacy policy of Swagbot. Swagbot is maintained by and Mr. Swaggles and ghostrider-05.

If you choose to use this service, then you agree with the collection of data as described in this privacy policy. Your data will never be shared and will not be used other for the purposes described in this policy. It is only accessible by the maintainers of this service.

Discord ​

This service only interacts with users via user-initialized actions, also known as interactions. This service will not log or store any data sent in any mutual server.

The following opt-in features of this service do store information:

  • workshop roles. Stores the Discord user identifier together with your Steam identifier.

Steam ​

For the opt-in feature of the workshop role, the following data is used from the connected Steam account on Discord:

  • Steam identifier (steamID64 and if applicable custom id)
  • Steam avatar hash
  • Steam username

The identifier will be stored after the user successfully completed the oauth login to verify the connection. To display the result if the connection was successful the Discord username and avatar will be displayed, but not stored.

For each workshop item the Steam Web API is used to display the item embeds. For more information about the privacy policy of the Steam Web API, see the official Steam policy.

For the platform opt-in feature, the usernames of the allowed platforms are stored. The usernames can be added, updated or removed at any time by the user (or maintainer of this service).

Website ​

This website uses no third-party items and does not track you or store / log data. All the personal related data are sent to enhance the current session on the device as explained in Steam section.

Data removal ​

If you wish to view or remove your data, use the /steam link Discord command.

If this service is being misused the maintainers can at any time remove the user from this service (unnoticed).
